Invitation to Attend Chemainus Residents Association AGM

Save the date! June 3, 2019 -  6 p.m. start, so you can still get the 10 p.m. ferry home! North Cowichan's Mayor and Council are invited, as well as our MLA and MP, and will have an opportunity to answer questions. Our presenters include the CVRD's Emergency Planning co-ordinator on Emergency Preparedness. After the December 2018 Stormaggedon we all need to be better prepared and coordinate services. We will also hear more about the new Climate Change staff member that will be hired for North Cowichan. This will also be an opportunity to elect a new Executive Team for the CRA Board of Directors. Meet your neighbors, hear about our Air Quality committee, and our Land Use and Planning committee.

AGM will be held in the Hall behind the Anglican Church in Chemainus. The Hall is on Mill Street, across from the parking lot for the post office. Doors open at 5:30 and the meeting starts at 6 p.m. June 3rd.
