Newly Completed Kitchen at Forbes Hall

On Friday, the finishing touches were completed for the Main Kitchen at Forbes Hall.  A thorough cleaning and it was ready for its first big event, the Annual TIVFD Appreciation & Awards Banquet.

It worked incredibly well!

Here are some pictures until folks will be able to take a look at this Wednesday's return of Soups' On!

Are You Interested? Let's Put on a Show!!!

Due to unforeseen circumstances the school concert will not be part of the community concert.  Sorry for any confusion or stress.

I am still willing to organize a community concert if there are enough acts to create a program. We will also need people to help set up and take down chairs, the stage tables etc., people to bring goodies, and someone to look after the refreshment table.

Please let me know by the 20th of November how you are able to participate.

(Read a poem, do a skit, a dance, a song, help out...)

Are you Interested to Help Celebrate?

For over 30 years our community has had a Christmas concert – actually, we were simply getting together to celebrate all we are grateful for. There were poems, songs, musical interludes, skits, dances, sing-alongs - any contribution was welcomed.

The school will be putting on a concert in the third week of December and I would be willing to coordinate other participants to fill out the program. So, dust off those books, warm up your vocal cords, practice with your friends, and help make this a special event!

In order for the school to make hall reservations, please let me know by Nov 20th if you want to participate.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
