Art for Our Fundraiser Event ~

Art Sale Dates: Thursday/Friday August 4 & 5, 2-7 PM at Forbes Hall, with Beverages and Nibbles on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM. Mark your calendars!
Clearing out some pieces of Art? Please consider donating them to our Soiree Fundraising event. This year we will have "ART FOR ALL AT THE HALL".... the sale will be open to the community...no entry fee. But we need art to display and sell!
You can drop off items at the Hall on Mondays or Fridays at 10 AM at the Hall, or call Dee Smith at 250-246-9770 to make donation arrangements. We will also be accepting art on Tuesday August 2 and Wednesday August 3 from 2-5 PM at the Hall. Finally, you can just drop off items at 120 Clam Bay Road.
Additionally, we will be looking for the loan of easels!
ART FOR ALL at the HALL is part of the annual Soiree produced by wonderful volunteers and benefiting TICA and TICF (Thetis Island Community Association and Thetis Island Community Fund).
The Dinner will be held at Forbes Hall on Saturday August 6, with silent and live auctions of goods and services, music and fine food and beverage....So this is now a great three day event!

Huge thanks from TICA

Huge thank you from TICA to community contractors and others
The Thetis Island Community Association executive board would like to express appreciation for significant volunteer contributions from local contractors for recent upgrades to the parking area and vehicle access to Forbes Hall.
Thanks in particular Sjoe van Kleef of Thetis Island Property Services. Many hours of man and machine time were donated by Dave Knowles, Ralf Kempe (Capernwray), Ian Ralston (Trax Developments), Art Hunter (Generation 4 Contracting), Jean Essminger, Joe Knowles, Steve Howard and myself.
It’s safe to say that this project would not have proceeded without this generous collaborative effort!
Sincerely,
Ron Bannister, project coordinator
