Solid Waste ~ Day of Change ~ April 28th

Over the last 4 months the Solid Waste Committee has been preparing to operate the garbage/recycle yard as a secure controlled site.  This means that all access gates and bins will be locked and the recycle container outside the yard will be closed for dropping off recycling. This will take effect on April 28th.  It is my understanding that the new Ferry schedule takes effect on the 28th of April, (may as well get it done on the same day).

You will need to bring your recycling items inside the yard when the site is open or perhaps share with a neighbour when timing is inconvenient.  The open hours will remain the same for the time being (9am-12 noon Wed and Sat) Please enjoy these fresh challenges.

THE 24/7  RETURNABLE SECTION OF THE OUTSIDE CONTAINER WILL BE LEFT OPEN FOR DROPPING RETURNABLE ITEMS ONLY.  IT WILL CONTINUE TO BE OPERATED BY THE SCHOOL PARENTS ASSOCIATION FOR THE TIME BEING.
