The role of the APC is to consider referrals from the Local Trust Committee on various planning matters such as Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaw amendments, and development applications.

The Local Trust Committee may appoint up to nine members for a two year term.  As required by the Local Government Act and the Thetis Island Advisory Planning Commission Bylaw, at least 2/3 of appointees must be residence of the Thetis Island Local Trust Area. The Advisory Planning Commission Bylaw may be viewed on the Islands Trust website and at the Northern Office.

Please forward your expression of interest with a brief description of relevant experience or interests, either by email, mail or fax by Friday, January 25, 2019.
