ThINC Spring Project

Good day Thetis Islanders,

Spring has (almost) sprung!

We’re excited to let you know that we will be launching Project -Re- Generation (ReGen) in April. ReGen is an immersive place- and project-based learning experience designed to inspire, empower, and activate youth through sustainable action-projects that also benefit the local community. As the first session of what we hope will be many (funding dependent), we have organized a small group of homeschool students, ages 12-15 to participate in this venture.

Under the expert coordination of Charlotte Fesnoux from ThINCpod fame, the program will be operating primarily out of the Nature House Monday to Wednesday, from April 6 - May 27 you might see Charlotte and the participants out and about exploring the community . Please be assured that we have a COVID-19 protocol in place and this program will be conducted with utmost care for the health and safety of participants and the Thetis Island community. Over the next few weeks, we will be inviting Thetis Island residents to an on-line information session where you can find out how you can support the program by pitching sustainable action projects to the group or as community experts.

To learn more about the program, please visit our Project -Re- Generation webpage:

Hope everyone is doing well,
The ThINC board
