Thank You Clinic Volunteers

The first covid-19 Vaccination Clinic for community members over 80 years old was held at the firehall on Friday and was very successful. It rained before and after, but not during. The two VIHA Public Health nurses, Joanne and Julie, were happy to see everyone and are looking forward to coming back soon for the mass clinic for everyone under 80 down to 18. Unfortunately, there is no announced date yet, but they are pushing our string uphill with us. As soon as we get word, we will let eSPOKES know.
We had terrific support from great community volunteers: Lis Kroeker, Jan and Charlotte Fesnoux, Anne-Marie Koeppen, Maureen Loiselle, Nan Beals and Michelle Sutter. Firefighters Dave Tarris, Mike Ellis, Pierre Henry, Yuka Saito and Grant Mottershead helped set up and stayed to assist, and Firefighters Brian Morita, John Gall, Jeffrey Thudian and Johnny Cullen Keidann helped them with the tear-down and getting the place back to looking like a firehall. In the background, Veronica Shelford was able to finally stop making updated lists for me to get this all organized.
Thank you all!
