Important: Over 80 yrs Count
Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 7:37AM The VIHA Clinical Coordinator has asked me today how many in our community are over 80 years old. They will send a team over before April 12th to vaccinate that group first. They will then come back after April 12th and do the rest of the community adults on one day.
The glitch is that I can never tell how old anybody is...it’s not a skill I have ever needed. I would estimate 15 persons here were born in 1941 or earlier, but I could be very much underestimating or overestimating. VIHA needs a better estimation in order to calculate how much vaccine to bring. I haven’t met everyone on the island.
If you, or your neighbour who doesn’t read eSPOKES, are in the 1921 to 1941 category, please drop me a note so I can adjust my guess. You can send me your estimate too, and I will average the guesses.
