Time to Order Organic Blueberries
Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 8:07AM Our favourite organic blueberry farm in North Saanich has faced significant challenges operating through the pandemic in 2020. Many of those challenges continue to be present, especially as their wonderful team of pickers won't be at the farm this season. Due to this the farm will be operating at a small capacity this year and thus some changes to their ability to harvest berries.
We will be submitting our order the moment the 'window' opens, as there is a limited supply this year. Also, only fresh, frozen berries will be available. In this way the farm can flash freeze berries and continue to at least supply some to direct farm customers like us.
Price will be $6/lb and the min. order is a 10 lb box. There is no bulk discount this year due to increased expenses for the farm (this is an increase of $0.25/lb from last year).
We are tallying up requests, so please email us asap and let us know how many boxes you would like this year.
We will pick up our order late August or early September.
