BC Day Parade – Monday, August 2nd
Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 7:39AM It's never too early to start planning. Let's have a parade! Most will have had their second covid shot, the Province will have considerably eased up on the restrictions by then, it will be a warm summer day just right for fun and frivolity. So put your creative hats on, plan your float or parade entry, or just plan on coming out to cheer.
Muster on Mission at 10am behind the fire trucks and kick off at 10:30. Route is down the hill, around Marina Drive past the boat ramp and back to Pilkey Point Road and up the hill again. Finish at Forbes Hall. Outdoor picnic tables will be there for those that really plan ahead for a picnic lunch.
Short and sweet, a great way to kick off August.
