The Nature of Water Project 2025

On Saturday, March 22nd, CCR and ThINC are launching, "The Nature of Water Project 2025" @ Forbes Hall, 2-5pm
The event will feature a discussion of our project, a short film "What the Water Tells Us", and keynote address "Dinosaur Pee and the Future of Thetis Island's Water" by David Slade.
David is a former president of the BC Ground Water Association, a current and founding member of the Cowichan Watershed Board and a retired water well driller. His family firm, Drillwell, has drilled a great many wells on Thetis Island. His talk will cover a wide range of water related topics which should be of interest to all Thetis residents.
In addition, we ask that you look for the survey in the upcoming Thetis Island Quarterly where residents are asked to pick water related topics, they are most interested in. Paper copies of the survey and a drop box are also available in the foyer of Forbes Hall.
