1. Looking for some help repairing an exterior entry door handle
2. Is anyone aware of someone on or off island who could clean and apply anti-fouling paint on the bottom of a small boat?
Please text or call Steve 604-671-6982, thank you in advance

Significant weather notification for British Columbia.
Gusty winds will sweep through B.C. on Sunday (Oct 9th) and Monday (Oct 10th) due to a cold front. Wind damage to drought-weakened trees may cause isolated power outages. Gusty winds with little to no precipitation will elevate fire behavior conditions.
We may dodge this warning, or not. Strong outflow winds are expected and we might be hit with the Copper Canyon winds. We are all usually prepared for this type of weather event, but our Stage 4 drought and EXTREME Fire Hazard rating could cause additional problems.
If you see a tree on the line and it’s sparking, call 911 immediately. TIVFD

Hello fellow islanders,
Unfortunately, I am going to cancel yoga on Thursdays for the rest of this year. Hopefully, Karen is back on island and will resume her classes soon.
Dawn
Firstly, I wish to again thank all of those people who jumped into action and came to my rescue when I crashed and burned on my e-bike out front of the Chemainus ferry terminal yesterday afternoon. That in includes the ferry staff. My wife was able to come and pick me up and take me home. By that time I could barely move and was in a lot of pain. Immediately applied DMSO every 15 minutes until I fell asleep. When I awoke the pain was gone and there was no swelling................ by the end of coffee I was moving about on my own and recovering swiftly. The wounds, scrapes are also mending well.
Regards,
David
Had a change of plans on fascia board.
Primed spruce combed fascia boards:
5 pieces of 2" x 10" x 16'
2 pieces of 2" x 10" x 12'
They're brand new, and will be
returned next Tue unless I can find a buyer on Thetis this weekend.
Please call or text for photo and pricing.

What a beautiful start to fall! This warm sunny weather means our patio is still open and we're even going to do another Outdoor Saturday Market on October 8 (Today)! The vendors will be set up by noon. Come by to wish Sybil a Happy Birthday!
We have some great features on our menu this weekend in the spirit of Thanksgiving. The Turkey Bangers with all of the traditional turkey dinner fixin’s is delicious! We also have a new seasonal Apple Pie Cider on tap from Merridale! Ask about our cocktail features too!
We are excited to move into the fall and winter season under new management. We have a renewed passion for hosting our island residents and visitors. Our hours will be changing a little as things slow down. As always, the restaurant is closed Tues/Wed. We will post our new hours on Monday and update our menu on Thursdays.
See you at the Marina :)
Is there anyone still doing good quality, meaning strong, simple small project welding here on Thetis ?
