Important Drone Use Information

With summer approaching it’s a good time to remind local drone owners and users that while they enjoy using drones for fun, real estate, weddings and such, to please respect individual privacy and personal space while keeping clear of the many local seaplane flights during daylight hours and, of course, adhering to Transport Canada regulations:

No drone zones

“No drone zones” are areas where it may be unsafe or illegal to fly your drone.
When you fly a drone for any reason you should generally not fly: around airports and aerodromes, in busy, populated areas, in national parks, over border crossings
You can only fly your drone in these areas for specific purposes by getting permission from Transport Canada.
