This is a reminder that on Saturday June 19 from 10 am to 3 pm St. Margaret’s Cemetery will be hosting a Solstice clean up.
Families and friends are invited to come and clean the grave markers of their departed ones. You will need to bring water, a rag and some soap to wash the stone. No harsh chemicals please. You will also need a trowel to clean out around the stone and put gravel down.
Bring a picnic lunch or snack. Social distancing will be in effect but there is lots of room to spread out.
We look forward to seeing you there.
If you have any questions please call Suzanne 250-246-9965.
Bicycle repair vice. Can attach to a bench or possibly a wall for storage, $50.

Wondering if anyone has any Pampas grass growing in their yard that they wouldn’t mind sparing a few cuttings. Please call me at 604-414-5927 if you do.
Thanks :)

In spite of what some have been told when they called to book theirvaccination here, there are in fact lots of time slots still available. Chief Caldbeck has been working with our contact at VIHA, and the system glitches are gradually being dealt with. Please do try to book your timeslot as soon as possible, so if there are continuing problems, you can let us know.
VIHA has requested some idea of how many young people, ages 12 to 17, are wanting to get their first or second shot at the Thetis clinic on the 16th and 17th. Any who have already had their first shot will be
eligible for the second one here, provided their first shot was at least 28 days ago if it was Moderna, or 21 days ago if it was Pfizer.
Please let us know a.s.a.p. at covidclinic@thetisislandfire.ca
Again, for booking a time, the phone number is 1-833-838-2323, or online at the link in your registration confirmation email, or if you haven't already registered, or don't have the confirmation email, try

In recognition of the many artists on Thetis Island, TICA has created an Art and Display Group tasked with providing opportunities for artists to display their work in the new Forbes Hall Community Centre. A process for submissions and display is being developed and should be in place by the fall.
If you are interested in submitting your artwork for consideration, or are interested in joining this group, please contact art@forbeshall.ca
