Return of the Chef

Hello everybody. I hope every single one of you have been doing well. I know I have been busy since I left, ended up cooking fresh caught Arctic Char at an outpost lodge at Tree River, NU by the Arctic Ocean, even got brave enough to do the Arctic dip or stupid enough, you choose. Some of you may remember me for cooking your 2020 Valentine’s Day dinner with the funky aphrodisiacs here on the Island just before the pandemic. Well, I came back because I was absolutely heartbroken that I had to leave the first time I came out here. I love this Island and the people on it.

 

I made some good friends here and hope to make many more. It's so nice to see so many familiar faces, so please stop by and say "hi". I'd love to continue the relationships I was developing with the local farmers; I remember I used to help feed some of the livestock.

New Menu & Weekly Specials
I am rolling out the new menu this week with some more Seafood dishes like Tuna Poke Bowls which can be turned into a Vegan option, Bacon & Leek Beer Mussels with Garlic Bread, Baked Salmon Mac & Cheese, Steak Sandwich & Prawns, Scallop Fettuccine Alfredo, Coconut Breaded Prawns, and Seafood Chowder. I also added some new sandwiches like The Buffalo Chicken Burger, and the funky Nacho-Cheese Burger with Doritos that I know darn well the kids will go crazy for.

Our feature nights will be Burger & Beer Thursday, Fish n' Chips Friday, Ribs Saturday, and Quarter Chicken Dinner Sunday.

Moving forward we will have a Wings Wednesday when we start opening up on more days. This Sunday I will have Turkey Dinner with Mashed, Steamed Vegetables, and Stuffing. I also started making fresh soups and sandwiches for our lunch specials, so c'mon down to the Marina, it's time to 'break an egg' ha ha. Much love...
